Admission Process |
|
St. Thomas More School accepts applications for the upcoming school year in
the spring of each year. Priority is given to returning
families, with siblings receiving highest priority for new
openings. If openings remain, active parish families are
reviewed for acceptance, then non-parish families, and finally
non-Catholic families. Each student is screened for academic
skills, with special needs taken into consideration. St. Thomas
More has a strong tutoring program for Multi-Sensory Learning.
Tutoring class sizes are limited to small groups to allow for
one-on-one attention. For families relocating from outside our
area, applications are accepted throughout the year for any
grades that have openings. Students will be screened prior to
being accepted.
For admission
to Kindergarten, the school follows the same priority list as
stated above. Siblings of current school families receive
highest priority, active parish families next, non-parish
families next, and finally non-Catholic families.
Information
regarding St. Thomas More School is available by contacting the
school administrative office at the address listed on the bottom
of the left menu bar, or by
e-mailing a request to our office. You may request to be placed
on the school’s waiting list to be contacted when an opening is
available for your child. However, please be advised that most
grades have a waiting list, and it is difficult to estimate when
openings will become available.

Financial Aid |
Every attempt possible is made to keep the cost of tuition at an
affordable rate for our school families. It is the intent of our
school to provide a strong Catholic education to all active parish
families that wish to attend St. Thomas More School. Families needing
financial assistance from the Archdiocese or from St. Thomas More
Parish must first apply for the Archdiocesan Scholarship. Dates and
application deadlines will be announced in the newsletter. Once the
application is processed by the Archdiocese, scholarships will be
awarded on a per need basis. Those who do not qualify with the
Archdiocese will be contacted by the Parish School in regards to
parish scholarship. Applications and information are available in the
school administrative office.
