Mrs. Janice Terrel
I am very happy to be here at St. Thomas More Parish School and I fell privileged to teach Kindergarten. I have been a teacher for 12 years and I have taught 1st grade, Kindergarten and Preschool. I also have worked as a reading specialist and I have a background in Art, Early Children Education, Computer Science and Children theater. I was born and raised in southern California. I attended a Catholic Elementary and High school in los Angeles area. At the university of California, riverside I received a BA degree in Art history. I later attended the graduate school of education a the university of California, riverside where I received my teaching credentials.
A couple years ago, I came to Seattle to visit a friend and fell in love with this beautiful area so it is now my home. I taught at St. Mathew in north Seattle and at St Louise in Bellevue. I have 3 children and 1 grandson. My 2 boys and grandson live in Northern California and my daughter lives in Seattle. I frequently go to cultural and music events. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have 2 sweet dogs and I like to take them for walks along the beach. In addition to teaching, I am a artist. I love to draw and paint often.
Gisela Bartolome has worked with 3 to 6-year-old children for eleven years in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Montessori. Gisela is married and has two daughters that also graduated from STM. She loves to travel visiting family and friends. She is an active member of St. Thomas More Parish.
