Mrs. Meg Tupou
Mrs. Meg Tupuo is an alumni of St. Thomas More Parish School. She attended STMPS for her K-8 education and continued her catholic school education at Archbishop Murphy High School where she graduated with academic honors. She then headed to Western Washington University with her sights on a teaching degree. March 2015, Mrs. Tupuo graduated from Western Washington University’s college of education with academic honors and an Early Childhood Education degree in hand. Thanks to her participation in the STMPS speech program and continued public speaking participation she was the commencement speaker at her college graduation. Mrs. Tupuo is very close with her family. Her brother also attended STMPS, he graduated from Kamiak High School June 2016. Currently, her and her family are parishioners of STM, her Dad is active in the Knights of Columbus and Mrs. Tupuo received her confirmation sacrament through STM. This past June Mrs. Tupuo got married to her boyfriend of six years, Taani, who recently graduated from the University of Washington and played in the Seahawks 2016 season opener. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, friends and dog as well as exploring the beautiful PNW. Her and her family watch a lot of football and have frequent game nights to spend time together. Mrs. Tupuo shares a birthday with Sr. Lorna and they have sent one another birthday cards every year since she was a student at STMPS. During her time at STMPS, Mrs. Tupuo was a student of Mrs. Golloway, Ms. Melton and Mrs. Ransford. Mrs. Tupuo loves the strong community within STMPS and her favorite school activity is the Blessing of the Pets. She plans on bringing her dog, Koa, this year. Mrs. Tupuo is very excited to be teaching back at STMPS and feels blessed to be teaching second grade which was a very special year for her in her faith.
