Teresa Thornton is thrilled to be part of the staff here at St. Thomas More Parish School. She attended St. Catherine of Sienna School in Seattle from Kindergarten through 8th Grade and Holy Names Academy for high school. Teresa earned a Masters in Teaching degree from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and History from the University of Washington. Her favorite subject to teach is Social Studies because it offers so many opportunities for students to learn about themselves in the context of history and the world around them. She also enjoys helping students learn to express their ideas in clearly, creatively, and effectively in English Language Arts classes. When she is not teaching, Teresa loves to travel, attend the theatre, visit museums, read, and go on hikes to explore the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
