Choir

Our choir program invites 5th through 8th grade students to attend after school rehearsals where they will learn how to utilize their voice to create music as a group. The students will learn how to manipulate and use their voice as an instrument through instruction and audible training. The curriculum will coincide with the OSPI Washington Music Standards and will help develop musical ideas, musical literacy, and musical techniques. The students will work on these vocal skills through rehearsing basic techniques and music that are associated with current season/religious holidays at the time. 

 

Students are expected to showcase their talents at the winter and spring concerts, selected Masses, senior luncheons, and school events/holidays (e.g. Fall Fest and Winter Fest)

Beginning Choir Program

  • Grade Level: 5-6
  • Rehearsal Time: Thursday 3:30-4:15
  • Fee: $75/year per student 

Advanced Phoenix Choir Program

  • Grade Level: 7-8
  • Rehearsal Time: Friday 3:30-4:15
  • Fee: $75/year per student
